AS I said before, Stephen F. and William H. were both enrolled in the soon to be Fifteenth Kentucky Cavalry, USA, on August 11, 1862, but on October 23, 1862, when they were to be officially mustered into active military service Stephen was rejected. So his name shows up in the records but he did not serve.
