Re: Capt. Sid Cook, Co. G, 7th Confederate Cavalry

My ggreatgrandfather was on Sid Cook's roster and disappeared from anything I can find on him so I wonder if he may have died during some of the raids. His name was Andrew Osborn and he was from Flat Gap area. A book on Osborns had a note that rumors told said he may have died stealing for the cause or from recruiting. Anyone know? He was brother in law of Captain Daniel Blevins of Ky 5th,Co K and served there during 1861-62. I have been unable to find out what happened to him and where he may have been buried. His property was on Lower Laurel Creek just out of Flat Gap, Ky but his widow? sold it during middle or late 1860's. Does anyone know?
