Thanks for your holiday wishes, and the same to you. I ran across a response from you on the WVA website regarding multiple service records. I have a GGGF on whom I have obtained copies of muster papers for the 5th Kentucky, CSA from the National Archives. They told me that this was all they had in his file. From the best information I can gather on him, he also fought with the 7th Confederate Cavalry Battalion, CSA, and Diamond's 10th Yankee Chasers, first as part of the Greasy Creek Guards, who eventually formed Captain Wells Co. in the 10th. How would I find out if multiple service records exist for my soldier? Thanks.
