Crumbaugh soldiers in Kentucky Cavalry CSA

I am tracking several soldiers who served in Confederate cavalry units from Kentucky. I have run across some inconsistencies in the records and I was wondering if anyone had the correct information for these people. Not sure if these inconsistencies were due to errors in the records or possibly consolidation of units.

Three of these men (Albert Graves Crumbaugh, Thornton Johnson Crumbaugh and John Henry Crumbaugh) were brothers. Another (C. or Calvin) Crumbaugh was likely related somehow. Sometimes these men are shown by their full names and other times by initials. Here is what I have

TJ is shown variously in CO A, 4th Cavalry, CO E, 5th Cavalry and CO A, 9th Cavalry. He was captured at Bardstown in June or July 1863, sent to Camp Morton, IN and later Camp Douglas, Chicago, IL.

JH (sometimes shown as JW) apparently served in CO A, 9th Cavalry, but I have also found records showing him in Co E, 5th Cavalry.

AG was in CO A, 9th Cavalry, was captured at Cleveland, TN on Nov 25 or 26, 1863 and sent to the prison camp at Rock Island, IL.

C. (or Calvin) was in Co. F, 5th Cavalry, was captured at Buffington Island, OH in July 1863 and imprisoned at Camp Douglas, Chicago, IL, where he died.

Any information provided would be appreciated.

Thanks

Paul
