Thats awesome one of my ancestors was part of a large pro Southern Indiana Family who almost all fought for the south they went off and joined Morgan as a family and many later fought under various others including Forrest. But he too young to go off and fight was left behind but he slipped away from his family and into the service he was from South Central/South Western Indiana its really hard to judge but he apparently by-passed the Norhtern Hotbed of Louisville on purpose and went South-South West rather than just South he served in the 12th Kentucky Cavalry, Jesse's Battalion, and Specifically Rowan's Company which acted as an independent Partisan Ranger group all by its lonesome as far as I know.
