Basil Duke was a rather prolific postwar writer. As my ggrandfather was in the Davis Cavalry Escort with Vaughn's East Tennessee Brigade, I have collected a number of documents related to the Davis flight.
History of Morgan's Cavalry, by Basil W. Duke, Kraus Reprint Co. NY, 1969, p. 572+ [I did not copy following pages, however, page 573 shows a map of the Davis flight]
Confederate Veteran, Vo. 16 No, 3, Escort to President Davis, pp. 121/3
Reminiscences of General Basil W. Duke, CSA, Doubleday, Page & Co.. 1911, pp. 380-399
Last Days of the Confederacy, Basil W. Duke, Battles and Leaders of the Civil War, Vol IV, pp. 762-768
You will not find references to individual units, rather, in the main, only Brigades are noted.
By the way, the work referenced by Alan, An Honorable Defeat, etc., by William C. Davis on Maj. Gen. John Cabel Breckenridge, is a great read.
