I have just started researching a cousin Bloomfield Hinton who fought in the 5th Regiment,KY Mounted Infantry,COMPANY E and is also listed in prisoner of war records as being in Bufords KY Calvary.He died at Camp Douglas in Chicago and is buried with 6,000 soldiers there at the Confererate monument where his name is listed. I would like to know where I can find a listing of his name with the 5th KY mounted. Buford seems to be a TN commander. Where can I find a good source of information about the 5th Inf CSA?
