My great-Grandfather David P'Pool ( my branch of the family changed our name to Pool)I was named after him and he was in the 8th (C.S.A.)He joined up at Fort Donaldson in Trigg County Ky. where his regiment was captured thier just day's after he joined up. After the war he settled in Christian County Ky. He was recently honored with a ceremony where by a headstone provided by the goverment was placed on his grave stating his unit etc...
