I am doing research into Guerilla Warfare in the Tennessee, North Carolina, and Kentucky areas. I know that Keith and Malinda Blalock were Unionists from North Carolina who aided many Union soldiers who had escaped southern prisons over the mountains from North Carolina into Tennessee and Kentucky. If anyone has any information that they would like to share about this, I would appreciate knowing about any books, etc. that would help in this research.

Also, if anyone knows of any women who served in any of the Kentucky regiments and women who are not already known about who served for the South or North, please let me know that, as well. If any of you are related to any of these women, I would appreciate hearing from you. Proof must be presented. Thank you.
