This is an account from the Louisville Daily Journal date 12 Oct 1861. Only account that I could find.

The Commercial's Flemingsburg, Ky correspondent says a messenger from Hillsboro arrived stating that a company of rebels, 300 strong, under command of Capt. Holliday of Nicholas county, were advancing on Hillsboro for the purpose of burning the place and attacking Flemingsburg. Lieut. Sadler and Sergeant Dudley were dispatched with 50 Home Guards to intercept them. The enemy was found two miles beyond Hillsboro encamped in a barn. Our men opened fire upon them, causing them to fly in all directions. The engagement lasted about twenty minutes, in which the enemy lost 11 killed, 29 wounded, and 22 prisoners were captured, also 129 Enfield rifles, a large number of sabers, pistols, bowie knives, and cavalry accoutrements. Our lost was 3 killed and 2 wounded.
