My ancestor,Capt. Robert Slaughter Curd and a few of his family members were part of the 11th Ky. Calvary. We believe Capt. Curd was taken prisoner at Maryville, 1863...we have a letter from him to his wife from Old Point Comfort Prison saying he is being removed to Macon. He died Sept 1864..no grave found as yet. I would very much appreciate any information that is available. Thank You.
