Re: Butler's 1st Kentucky Cavalry Company C

Thanks Alan. I can give you some.
Enlistment was Sept. 2 1862 for all three.
My scattered info says they all went into Company C of Butler's.
As it turns out it was a father and two sons.
Father- Silas Wilson born 1820 Kentucky. Married to Mary Glass.
Son-Ferdinan Wilson born 1842 Kentucky
Son-???? Wilson--I'm waiting for some more detail on him as we speak. That Glass Family book that I spoke of is very tough to get and I believe it has some info on this particular issue in it.
I believe they all made it through and died in the early 1900's.
I'm working on this with my two sons who are HS senior and College right now. They are getting into it!!

Thanks for any help or direction.
