That's him, Alfred Cullen. I made a mistake and typed his name as Albert C. The family book says his brother Albert D. was also in the army I assume the same outfit. I think Alfred also lived in in Mt. Vernon, Ill because that's where it list my grandfathers birth place in 1875- 3rd child Peyton Thomas. Seems odd that a diehard southern soldier would go live in a northern state, but I suppose he did.
