You have identified my Richard Haddix, husband of Emiline Little and son of Samuel Haddix and America Wilson.
I am a little surprised I have never been able to find him listed in a roster, but he may also have been keeping his head down given his Republican leanings. Of my four paternal 2G grandfathers, R. M. Haddix is the only one not found serving in the CSA. He would have been 24 in 1862. I wonder what the heck he was doing?
