Pvt. Abram Garvin, 108th USCI

Searching for letters, journals, and other personal and public documents referencing the life and military service of Abram Garvin, who enlisted as a sergeant in Company F of the 108th U.S. Colored Infantry. He mustered out of the army as a private. Born about 1840 in Georgia, he resided in Shephardsville, Kentucky, after the war and worked as a domestic laborer for a farmer named A.H. Bowman. Garvin died about 1879. His wife, Fanny, survived him. Any and all help appreciated.
