Searching for letters, journals, and other personal and public documents referencing the life and military service of Charles "Charlie" Mudd, who served as a corporal in Company C of the 108th U.S. Colored Infantry. Mudd married Rose Howard in Washington County, Kentucky, in 1872. He died about 1915, and his wife survived him. Any and all help appreciated.
