Our next quarterly meeting is Nov. 21, 1:00 pm, at the Landmark Restaurant in Pikeville. The speaker will be Richard Brown of Letcher County, who, along with David Chaltas, has done a book called Mountain Confederates. It deals with the early days of the 5th Kentucky Infantry, CSA as well as the later formation of the 13th Kentucky Cavalry, CSA, under Col. Benjamin Caudill. We would enjoy having you become a part of our group.
