My g/grandfather was Thomas V. (aka T.V.) Wheeler; Private, 3rd Batt'n. KY Mounted. Rifles. My research reveals he mustered in the unit Oct. 11, 1862 in Lexington, KY. I do not have when he mustered out or if he filed for pension. My next solid fact was when he sold property in Cynthiana, Harrison Co., KY in August of 1875 following his move to Vermillion Co., Indiana with his wife, David Della (aka D. D.) Clois Wheeler. He died May 3, 1886 at age 50 in Fountain Co., Indiana. I have a picture of his headstone. I have been searching for a picture of T.V. or for his unit. If anyone can help it most certainly be appreciated.
