Looking for information on John H. Jenkins, born 1834 Meade Co. KY; Union Civil War service from Ohio Co. KY. Wife, Janetta. Thanks for any help at all.

Father was Benjamin Shacklett Jenkins and mother was Elizabeth T. (Humphrey) Jenkins. Brother was Benjamin Fulton Jenkins who served in Company "D" then "H", with the 17th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry, organized at Hartford and Calhoon, KY under command of Colonel John Hardin McHenry, Jr., formally mustered in December 1861. The "H" in John's middle name is probably "Humphrey."
