I am searching for Civil War information on ancestor Jonathan R.F. Poston who served in the 23rd Regiment, Kentucky Infantry, Company B. I believe he died in the Civil War in TN and his wife Elizabeth applied for a pension application no. 34957 and certificate no. 24648.
