I didn't think you were trying to be sarcastic with your use of "Sir." I do it in the real world too. I'm just not used to it. And you are up on me, I just play a gun sergeant in reenactments.

Maybe check into the Battle of Big Hill, and the Battle of Richmond.

And have you tried contacting the KY Historical Society? http://history.ky.gov/ (obvious, I know, but it is amazing how many people bypass the obvious).

May I ask why your interest in this? I'm curious about it because my dad came from Rockcastle Co. (left it when he enlisted USMC, 1940. He decided he prefered CA and stayed here when he was discharged in 1947).
