In researching this line, I just happened to run across some interesting information for our family. The wife of Elijah, Cynthia Gent, had a maternal grandfather named Nathan Sullins, who fought in the Revolutionary War. Through a daughter of theirs, Martha Patty Sullins, is my husband's line. Not previously known to us, through one of their sons, John C. Sullins, is descended my sister's husband who is a male direct-line descendant of Nathan Sullins. The more I research genealogy, the more I truly learn the world IS a small place after all.
