By the way, if anyone is interested I have published a single volume that are the individually indexed courts-martial for Sue Mundy, Henry Magruder, and Henry Metcalf. As to Col. Allen, I find him of particular interest because he testified in a different court-martial where he stated that he told people like Clark and Magruder that if they did not return to the Confederate army with him they would likely be shot as guerrillas, "and ought to be." Also, Allen was a soldier during the revolution in Cuba, in 1850.
