Does anyone know if April will still be designated as "Civil War Month" in Louisiana? I know Gov. Foster (God Bless his Soul) did sign a bill to make April of 2001 "Civil War Month." But is that going to be a permanent thing for the state or not? I surely hope so because there is so much history in our state that we all need to contribute to this special time as much as possible, if it is a yearly remembrance to all those honorable men and women who helped in the "cause."
