Review of Dr. Bergeron's book

Has anyone noticed the hostile review of Dr. Bergeron's book, "Black Southerners in Gray: Essays on Afro-Americans in Confederate Armies" on Amazon.com? It is quite unfavorable, with the reviewer going to the extreme of asserting that Dr. Bergeron is struggling to "rewrite history". The review then degenerates into a comparison of black Confederate soldiers with Nazis of Jewish heritage.

I do not personally yet have a copy of this book, but I do have Dr. Bergeron's other excellent works ("Confederate Mobile", "The Civil War Reminiscences of Major Silas T. Grisamore, C.S.A.", and of course, the invaluable "Guide to Louisiana Confederate Military Units 1861-1865"). Speaking as an academian who is also an amateur historian, I find his research to be of the highest quality, both well-documented, illuminating, and insightful. I would expect the "Black Southernerns in Gray" to be of a similar nature, and so I expect to disagree with the above review.

Can anyone comment?
