Do you mean the article is about the fire on the USS ARIZONA, or about the action at Pointe Coupee, Louisiana, on June 15, 1863, in which a Confederate force ashore captured several sailors from the ARIZONA? If the article is on the capture of the sailors, then I would be very, very interested in it, as I have not been able to confirm through official documents, as yet, that it was indeed Samuel Sherwood Bissell, who was captured, although Bissell himself mentions, in a letter to his brother years later, that he was captured on the Mississippi in 1863. He does not elaborate further by giving an exact date, or place of capture, but I have a copy of a letter written by the commander of the ARIZONA written to his father in June, 1863, in which he mentions that several sailors, including an officer (unnamed) was captured while ashore. The lack of documentation, especially from the Confederate side is quite frustrating, at times.
