In the following book:
The Roster of Confederate Soldiers 1861-1865 Volume XV
(Sudellert, James D to Warn, RC) which was edited by Janet B Hewett and published by Broadfoot Pub Co., Wilmington, NC 1996; I found the following:

Todzers, J W - LA 2nd Cav, Co I

This person could be related to me and the spelling may be incorrect. I am related to a Todzwer family which lived in New Orleans during the Civil War.

Any help appreciated. The National Archives had no info on this person. Is he for real???
