Searching desperately for information on my Great, great, great grandfather's unit of CS service, French Brigade Louisiana Militia, Co. 1. The unit was formed in New Orleans, LA, but I am unsure as to the rest of its military service. There is no regimental history that I can find, and all I seem to be able to dig up is the regimental rosters.

Does anyone else know about this unit?
