Benjamin Ellzey 1826-1904, CSA?

Family history says that Benjamin Franklin Ellzey served in the CSA during the Civil War, but I'll be darned if I can find him. I have searched the Civil War Soldiers and Sailors System, and various Civil War websites like this one, where I found links to data on so many other relatives. Most of the other relatives were in Mississippi units: 16th MS, 7th MS, 20th MS, 38th MS Cav, 22nd MS, 39th MS, and 38th MS. But a bunch enlisted and served in Louisiana: the 11th LA, 31st LA, 6th LA, and so on. I even know what company most were in. I've got pension records and bounty land records on most of them, too. But still no sign of Ben.

BENJAMIN FRANKLIN ELLZEY
Born, April 10, 1826, Pike Co., MS
Died November 20, 1904, Tylertown, Pike Co., MS

In 1850, he was listed in the Sabine Parish census in Lousiana, so I looked for him there, too. (In 1870 and 1880 censuses, he is back in Pike Co., MS)

Can anyone help me find him? Thanks!
