Hi, What kind of information do you need? I of course would like to find a photo. Henry W. Forno was born in Charleston NC in 1798. His father was John Forneau a gunboat pilot in Charleston. His brother Col. Charles Henry Forno of Washington Altillery mexican war service dob 9/1790 dod 3/12/1887 born in Charleston died in New Orleans. Henry Forno died Jan 31, 1866 at Amite, LA when a locomotive exploded. I have those New Orleans Daily Cresent photo copies. Henry F. married Maria Ketcham (3/14/1812 and dod 10/10/1861 Ponchatoula LA). There were 2 sons and 1 daughter. Geo. W. Forno, my greatgrandfather 1841-1912. Was Henrys son. and
A Pvt. Co.F, Cres. Regt. La. Inf. Henry Forno between wars was Police Chief in New Orleans. He was presented a walking stick whose gold cap reads " Capt. Henry Forno from a friend 1849". I have more information and the walking stick. Thank you R.T.Forno
