thomas' brigade

Seeking specific data regarding the delay in exchanging the Louisiana units that ultimately formed Thomas' brigade of Vicksburg and Port Hudson POWs? The OR's even have a passage from Dick Taylor early in '64 about having a favorable excess of 12-1300 pow's that could expedite their exchange process. The individual regimental histories that I've seen do not pin point these exchange or brigade formation dates. These Louisiana units in the Trans-Miss. seem to be the last, and much the later of that group to reform, and would have been of great value in the Red River campaign. Any idea of the exact dates that each of the unit was individually made available for duty? When did the brigade itself actually organize as a unit? Thank you
