If memory serves, there is a map of this battle in Morris Raphael's book "Battle in the Bayou Country." It was taken from a map that appeared in a Union regimental history (13th Connecticut?). Several years ago, the American Battlefield Protection Program of the National Park Service prepared a map of the battle, placing probable unit locations on a modern topographical map. There may be a copy of this at the Office of Historic Preservation in Baton Rouge.
