jamie,been looking over the information you sent me for the last day or so. i am firmly convinced that john f. brimberry listed as private in miles la. legion and my gggrandfather are one and the same. somewhere around in this area is a robertson cemetary. four confederate soldiers are listed as being buried there.three are robertsons and the forth is john f. brimberry.he is shown to be son-in-law to william robertson.john married mildred robertson who was the daughter of william robertson and eliza bankston.william robertson had a large plantation here in what is now tangipahoa,parish la.not only that,william robertson served in the war of 1812.
