Glad I could help! The records can be a little confusing in the beginning, but you will get the hang of it. I will send you the link for the online records, but you may want to check the hard copy of Andrew B. Boothe's book, "Records of Louisiana Confederate Soldier's and Louisiana Confederate Commands - Volume's I, II, III". It is POSSIBLE that in the transcription from Boothe's book to online that a mistake was made. I do not have a copy of those books in my personal library but many of the people who post on this board do, including, as I understand, the Board Administrator, Jamie Roberts. For a history of the 3rd Louisiana Cavalry (Wingfields), Arthur W. Bergeron's book, "Guide to Louisiana Confederate Military Units 1861 - 1865" is an excellent source that IS in my library, and it is well worth the cost.
