I have William C. Crow born 4-10-1827 Lafayette Parish, son of Basil C. Crow and Maximilien Brashear. Md. Clara Lindsay. A Lafayette Parish lawyer and postwar district attorney. Died 1879. Buried Old Protestant Church Cemetery, Lafayette.

As Hugh said, Winchester Hall's book on the 26th is a must. Crow was promted to Lt. col. to rank from 12-20-1862. He resigned his commission 3-4-1865.
