Army Register of Volunteer Force

I just found out that there is a government publication, an eight volume set, entitled Army Register of the Volunteer Force. Does anyone know if these books can be found anywhere in the State of Louisiana? If you've ever tried to identify an officer using the Heitmann books, you've quickly found out that those are only Regular Army, and since most of the officers in the Civil War were volunteers, ie, in State units, Heitmann leaves out an awful lot of officers. My particular interest right now is trying to identify one US Army Captain Lee, who ran the contraband camp at Fort DeRussy after it was captured, in March and April, 1864. I know a Lee is a needle in a haystack, but hopefully the above mentioned volumes might have him.
