no problem; glad to help. The actual site where Springfield Landing is located is today on private property (chemical company?). There is a photo of the site in a small book published by Bill Spedale re the Port Hudson area and collected relics several years ago.

According to my cousin Warren Demarest (now of Rossville, GA but a native of Baton Rouge) the Springfield Landing site had LOTS of relics on it several years ago....now..?????
