I am seeking information on Pvt. Phillip Paul Co.D 9th La. Inf. En. who enlisted March 10, 1862. He was captured at Winchester, VA on June 5, 1862. He was sent to Fort Delaware where he joined the Union army as a galvanized yankee. Where was he sent and where did he die? I cannot find any information on him. Any help will be appreciated.
