Until you posted this note, I thought I had another candidate for the artillery unit with Bartlett. But this unit had rifled pieces. Rather than post that information here, however, I was going to offer it for sale on eBay. We historians deserve to be paid for our assistance instead of giving it away all the time.

As you know, a section consists of two cannon, so Stark's description of a single 6-pounder indicates that Bartlett had only one gun. The Union reports seem to support that idea. Is there any possibility that the gun came from one of the batteries of Walker's Division?
