I returned to my primary source, and find nothing that we hadn't already discussed other than the number of artillerymen. Capt. Stark reported that a third of them were wounded in the action (3) and one had since died. So, they were nine in all. Stark also speaks with some contempt of "their old cannon" as if it was some antique removed from a courthouse lawn somewhere. Not much help there.
