You might check the footnotes in Terry L. Jones' "Lee's Tigers" (LSU Press) to see if he cites any newspapers. Several papers in New Orleans ran casualty lists after the battle, and you might find one in the "Daily Picayune." That paper is not online, so you would have to look at microfilm copies.
