Sgt George M. Dixon, Co C 12th La Inf wrote a letter to his sister mentioning that the regiment was reviewed on Dec 24, 1862 by Jefferson Davis, Joseph E. Johnston, and Old Pap. Does anyone know who Old Pap was. Thanks.
