For many years I have been trying to find the final resting place of my ancestor. Joseph H. Dale was the Commander of Company I, 15th La. Infantry. He died at the Charity Hospital in New Orleans on Aug. 3, 1880. New Orleans newspaper clippings say he was buried in New Orleans by "friends". He was from Concordia Parish, was only in New Orleans because he was ill. If any one can help me, I would forever be in your debt..........thanks, Michael Dale
