Soldier help

I have a John William Butler who had sons Jethro and Andrew. I saw in the LA pension index a William, Jethro, and Drew, all in different regiments. I'm trying to see if the guys applying for pensions are in fact John, Jethro, and Andrew. Any help appreciated.

John William Butler
Born 1840. Lived in Claiborne Parish. Died 1926. THere is a William Butler that applied for pension from Claiborne Parish in Company A, 9th Louisiana Infantry. Same guy?

Jethro Butler
Born 1849, died 1925 in Claiborne Parish. A Jethro Butler applied for pension in Claiborne Parish and was listed as having been in Company C, 19th Louisiana Infantry. Same guy? Son of John?

Andrew Butler
Born 1851. Died 1932 in Dodson, Jackson Parish. A Drew Butler applied for pension from Jackson Parish having been in Capers Regiment (13th Battalion Partisan Rangers).

Am I on track here?

Also would like to confirm that William W. Faulk (W.C. on some records) of Gray's 28th Louisiana was wounded at Yellow Bayou and died the following November.

They were brothers, not father/sons
