Sorry if this was touched on earlier, have been a stranger to this board for awhile. Just wondering if the historic New Orleans cemeteries, especially St Louis No. 1, received any substantial damage from Katrina.

I have never been to NO and don't know the lay of the land, but presume there must have been some flooding?

I know the Univ of Penna. has been actively involved in restoration and archiving efforts in the St. Louis cemeteries, but haven't heard anything about possible storm damage.

Also was Jackson Barracks damaged?
