Using Ezra J. Warner's Generals in Gray (Louisiana State University Press) I see he has no listing for any middle name or initial for him. Since it appears Mr. Warner includes the middle name of most of the other men I am assuming he didn't know of one. I could be in error though.

However, I found a source listed on Rootsweb that gives his middle name as "Strother". This is stated as his paternal grandmother's maiden name. As with all information obtained from the internet it is best to confirm with it other sources.
