In Response To: Capt. Abraham Allen Cann ()

Booth's records show the following:

Cann, A. A. (also Cann, Abe A.), Pvt. Co. C. 17th La. Infty. En. Sept. 29th, 1861, Camp Moore,La. Present on all Rolls to April, 1862. Roll for May 23rd, 1862, Absent. Sick. Present or absent not stated on Rolls from May, 1862, to Aug., 1862. Present on Rolls from Nov., 1862, to Feb., 1863. Official Rolls of Paroled Officers, Monroe, La., shows the name. Cann, A. A., Capt. 2nd La. Battn. Hvy. Arty. Co. F. Paroled at Monroe, La., June 20th, 1865 (which is presumed to be the same soldier).

You have the basics allready, but figure this addition might help.
