Thanks Jim. I remember seeing somewhere on the internet recently that Drew was in the 13th Battn Partisan Rangers but I didn't bookmark it and now I can't find it. The online pension index just says Capers Regiment. If I remember right part of the 13th was from Claiborne Parish (where Drew was from at the start of the war) and the pension application is from Jackson Parish where Drew lived and died after the war. The thing is that he was born in 1851, but there aren't any other Drew or Andrew Butlers around so I'm trying to make sure it's him before I send off money to get the pension application. I wish I could find that site again. Lesson learned.
