I am searching for Captain Alexander P. Morse's diary. Morse, who was from Louisiana, served on the staff of Brigadier General James P. Major (CSA) during the 1864 Red River Campaign. The diary is cited in the following book: Walter George Smith, _Life and Letters of Thomas Kilby Smith, Brevet Major-General, United States Volunteers, 1820-1887_ (New York: G. P.
