I would like to announce to everyone, that Jamie Roberts, a moderator on this and our other message boards, was taken to the Ville Platte, LA hospital at about 4:00 AM on Tuesday morning, where he was diagnosed as having had a heart attack.

In conversations with Victoria Roberts, Jamie's wife, it appears this has been a "minor" heart attack, if any heart attack can be referred to as minor. Today, Jamie had a surgical procedure at the hospital in Alexandria, VA where a stint was inserted into a narrowed or blocked coronary artery. Everything went successfully and now we're waiting for the news that Jamie has returned home and is on the mend.

Jamie is my friend as he is to many of you. I would ask that each of you have Jamie and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Jamie is a young man, just forty-five years old, and it is my hope that this incident is a warning to both Jamie and all of us, to watch our health closely.
